How to cancel your subscription and what happens next

This Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel your Fintechsetu PolicyMind AI subscription, what happens to your account and data after cancellation, and any applicable terms. We believe in transparency and want to ensure you have a clear understanding of the cancellation process.

2. Your Right to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time. There are no long-term commitments, and you are not required to provide a reason for cancellation. However, we appreciate feedback to help us improve our services.

3. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription through any of the following methods:

Sign in to your Fintechsetu account at mis.fintechsetu.com

Navigate to Account Settings > Subscription

Cancel Subscription

Click on "Cancel Subscription" and follow the prompts

You will receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed

3.2 Email Cancellation

Send an email to demo@fintechsetu.com with:

  • Subject line: "Subscription Cancellation Request"
  • Your registered email address
  • Company name associated with the account
  • Reason for cancellation (optional but appreciated)

We will process your request within 2 business days and send a confirmation email.

3.3 Phone Cancellation

Call us at 9891919790 during business hours (Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST) to request cancellation. Please have your account details ready for verification.

4. Cancellation Timing and Billing

4.1 When Cancellation Takes Effect

  • Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will continue to have full access to the Services until the end of the paid period
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation is confirmed

4.2 Monthly Subscriptions

  • Cancel anytime before your next billing date
  • Access continues until the end of the current month
  • No partial month refunds are provided

4.3 Annual Subscriptions

  • Cancel anytime during your subscription year
  • Access continues until the end of the annual period
  • No pro-rated refunds for unused months (except as specified in our Refund Policy)
  • Cancellation prevents automatic renewal for the next year

5. What Happens After Cancellation

5.1 Immediate Effects

  • Auto-renewal is disabled immediately
  • You receive a cancellation confirmation email
  • Your subscription status changes to "Cancelled - Active until [date]"

5.2 During the Remaining Subscription Period

  • Full access to all features of your plan continues
  • You can continue to upload and process documents
  • All your data remains accessible
  • You can export your data at any time

5.3 After Subscription Expires

  • Access to the platform is suspended
  • You cannot log in or access features
  • Your data enters a 90-day retention period

6. Data Retention and Deletion

6.1 Data Retention Period

After your subscription expires, we retain your data for 90 days. During this period:

  • Your data is securely stored but not accessible
  • You can reactivate your subscription to regain access
  • You can request a data export by contacting support

6.2 Data Export

Before or after cancellation, you can export your data:

  • Before Cancellation: Use the export feature in your account settings
  • After Cancellation: Contact us at demo@fintechsetu.com to request a data export
  • Export formats include CSV, Excel, and PDF for reports
  • Original uploaded documents can be downloaded in bulk

6.3 Permanent Deletion

After the 90-day retention period:

  • All your data is permanently deleted from our systems
  • This includes policy documents, client data, reports, and account information
  • Deletion is irreversible
  • Certain data may be retained longer if required by law (e.g., billing records for 7 years)

6.4 Immediate Data Deletion Request

If you want your data deleted immediately upon cancellation (without the 90-day retention):

  • Submit a written request to demo@fintechsetu.com
  • Confirm that you have exported all required data
  • Acknowledge that deletion is permanent and irreversible
  • We will process the deletion within 30 days

7. Reactivation

7.1 During the Retention Period (90 Days)

If you wish to reactivate your subscription within 90 days of expiration:

  • Log in to your account or contact support
  • Choose a subscription plan
  • Complete payment
  • Your account and all data will be restored immediately

7.2 After the Retention Period

If you wish to return after 90 days:

  • You will need to create a new account
  • Previous data cannot be recovered
  • You may be eligible for returning customer offers

8. Cancellation by Fintechsetu

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend your subscription in the following circumstances:

  • Payment Failure: If payment cannot be processed after multiple attempts
  • Terms Violation: If you violate our Terms and Conditions
  • Illegal Activity: If the account is used for illegal purposes
  • Service Discontinuation: If we discontinue the Services (with reasonable notice)

In case of cancellation due to payment failure, we will notify you and provide an opportunity to update your payment information before suspension.

9. No Cancellation Fees

Fintechsetu does not charge any cancellation fees. You can cancel your subscription at any time without penalty. The only cost is the subscription fee for the current billing period, which is non-refundable (except as specified in our Refund Policy).

10. Downgrading Instead of Cancelling

Before cancelling, consider downgrading to a lower-tier plan if cost is a concern:

  • Contact our support team to discuss available options
  • Downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle
  • You retain access to features included in the lower-tier plan
  • Your data remains intact (subject to plan limitations)

11. Pause Subscription

In certain circumstances, we may offer the option to pause your subscription instead of cancelling:

  • Pause duration: Up to 3 months
  • Your data is preserved during the pause
  • No charges during the pause period
  • Subscription resumes automatically after the pause period
  • Contact support to request a pause

Note: Pause option availability may vary based on your subscription plan and account history.

12. Feedback

We value your feedback and would appreciate knowing why you decided to cancel. Your input helps us improve our services. When cancelling, you may optionally share:

  • Reason for cancellation
  • Features you found missing
  • Suggestions for improvement
  • Overall experience with PolicyMind AI

13. Changes to This Policy
